Renfe launches six strategic projects to apply Artificial Intelligence

Renfe has made progress in its digital transformation by publicly presenting the six projects that make up the first Artificial Intelligence (AI) project competition of its AI Laboratory.

(19/6/2025) This initiative is pioneering in the Spanish railway sector and aims to attract the best technological talent to design and validate AI-based solutions with a high operational and social impact.

The competition is part of Renfe’s strategy to position itself as a European benchmark in the responsible, useful and scalable application of emerging technologies. It also reinforces Renfe’s commitment to the development of the national technological ecosystem.
