Comsa is awarded phase two of Line 4 of Sao Paulo Metro as part of a consortium



As part of a consortium, Comsa has been awarded the construction project of phase two of Sao Paulo Metro’s Line 4, which includes about two kilometers of line and four stations.

The contract, which totals more than 235 million euros, covers the commissioning of four new stations, the construction of more than 2,000 meters of tunnel, and the construction of three emergency exit shafts, as the principal actions on this line that moves 1.7 million passengers a day.

The project has been awarded to the "TC-Linha 4 Amarela" consortium, which is formed by Comsa with a 40% share and the Brazilian company Infraestruturas e Investimentos, with the remaining 60%.

The consortium will be in charge of the construction of the Higienópolis-Mackenzie, Oscar Freire, São Paulo-Morumbi and Vila Sônia stations. It will also be responsible for the construction of the bus terminal adjacent to the Vila Sônia station.
