The plan of activities for 2017 of the Spanish Railway Association (Mafex) includes trade delegations, reverse missions, visits and grouped participation in fairs, as well as the celebration of the 6th International Railway Convention.

This 6th International Railway Convention will take place in Valencia in the month of June and will be a meeting point for the Spanish railway industry and delegates of operating companies, infrastructure administrators, representatives of the main cities’ metro systems and railway services suppliers from the five continents.
Mafex will also be present at the UIC High Speed World Congress to be hold in Ankara in July, and at the HST California in the second half of the year, which will consolidate the Spanish companies’ position in the boost of high speed in countries like United States.
Mafex has scheduled trade delegations to Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Australia and the Philippines, and will be present at the main fairs of the sector such as Middle East Rail in Dubai, the UITP Global Public Transport Summit in Montreal or the Iran Rail Expo in Tehran.
