According to this contract, which amounts to eight million Saudi riyals (about two million euros), Typsa will supervise the works for the construction of the station of the city of Zulfi, which has 60,000 inhabitants and is located at 260 kilometres from the capital city Riyadh.

The Spanish engineering company will provide assistance to Saudi Railway Company (SAR) in the choice of the construction company that will carry out the work for the station on the 1,400 km line between Riyadh and Gurayat, a city located to the north and close to the border with Jordan.

This station will improve railway service and access along the axis between the capital city and the north of the country. The line will be operative at the end of this year, although the whole railway project will not be ready until 2022.
