Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya-Inse Rail agreement for international projects

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) and Inse Rail have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the development of railway engineering projects outside of Spain. The term of the agreement is two years, which are extendable.

The agreement will make it possible to carry out basic projects for the construction of railway lines and intercity, regional and commuter rail systems. Both FGC and the engineering company Inse Rail will be able to manage the works, provide technical assistance and conduct technical studies as well as consulting services specialised in the railway sector.

FGC and Inse Rail have developed a study of the international market from which it can be inferred that there are business opportunities for both companies in countries such as United States, Sweden, Romania, The Maghreb, several parts of Ibero-America, Saudi Arabia and Middle East.
