 With this acquisition, CAF, which holds back orders in excess of € 1,200 M in the United Kingdom, confirms its strategy towards diversification and growth.

BWB will carry out activities with CAF Turnkey & Engineering, a subsidiary of the CAF Group in charge of heading up turnkey projects and a benchmark in the railway engineering sector.

BWB will play a major role in CAF's plans to diversify and extend the Group's presence in English-speaking markets, as well as to expand its transport engineering services on an international scale. CAF, for its part, will strengthen its areas of infrastructure engineering, environment, building and project management.

BWB Consulting is among the 30 largest British engineering consulting companies, with an annual turnover exceeding 22 million pounds and a workforce of over 300. Its administration office and headquarters are located in Nottingham whilst other offices are strategically located up and down England in cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Cambridge and Northampton.
