The project, whose execution period is 18 months, will make it possible to replace the current train monitoring system and command desks of the network. CAF Signalling has been entrusted with the supply and installation of a control centre that will be integrated with the existing signalling in place, based on relay locks.
The system will control the rail traffic that starts from Constitución terminus station, one of the most important railway stations in Buenos Aires, and reaches Ezeia and Alejandro Korn sectors. The new centre will control 22 command desks (local control posts) along the Roca Line, one of the lines with the most densely distributed rail traffic in the country.
CAF Signalling will implement its Naos solution for integrated multifunctional control centres. This solution has the ability to integrate the different operational responsibilities under one single operating position.
