Delegation from Fresno County in California visits Renfe



Renfe welcomed a delegation made up of political and business representatives from Fresno County in California, who were interested in learning about high-speed rail operation in Spain and the impact that its implementation and development have had on the Spanish cities.

The Californian representatives, led by the Mayor of Fresno City, Lee Brand, and the President and CEO of the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation, also included two Council Members of the Corporation as well as some business representatives.

The delegation, which came on a weeklong trip to Spain to learn more about Spanish high-speed rail, visited facilities such as Fuencarral High-Speed rail workshop, Renfe’s Operations Management Centre and Adif’s Control Centre in Atocha, besides having meetings with mayors in order to get to know the transformation experienced by their cities due to the arrival of High Speed.
