Smart Mobility Congress to be held in November as an annual event instead of biennial

From 13-15 November Barcelona will host the second edition of the Smart Mobility Congress, an international event focused on urban and interurban mobility that will now be held every year and in which the rail sector will play a leading role again.

The Smart Mobility Congress will be held together with the Smart City Expo World Congress. In the 2017 edition, both events brought together 18,700 visitors coming from over 700 cities, 675 exhibitors and 420 speakers.

Regarding the specific participation of transport and mobility, around 100 exhibitors and 80 speakers attended the events to discuss the big challenges of urban mobility in the 21st century, and to create new collaboration and business opportunities.

The Smart Mobility Congress started in 2017 as a result of merging the old railway event BcnRail with the mobility section of the Smart City Expo World Congress.
