Icon Multimedia implements its passenger information system on Line B of Medellín Metro

(20/06/2018)

A total of twenty-four digital information screens have been installed in seven stations of Line B, which connects San Antonio with San Javier, in western Medellín. These screens show real-time information on the arrival and departure of trains as well as the ‘Cultura Metro’ channel, which offers the city’s leisure agenda, among other services.

The installation of this equipment is part of the Medellín Metro project called Citizen Information Centre (CIC), integrated by different channels and social networks. It also includes information screens in bus stations of line 1 as well as the stops of the Ayacucho Tram and the Oriente-Villa Sierra Metrocable (Line H).

Icon Multimedia anticipates that, by the end of this year, the Deneva system will be in service through the external screens installed in the stations of lines A and B. These screens will be located on the footbridges or pedestrian bridges of stations on Line A, while on Line B they will be close to the accesses.
