The project amounts to 26.5 million euros and has been awarded by the Gdansk Development Division. Works include a total length of 7.8 km of track to be replaced, fourteen platforms, seventeen level crossings, sidewalks, and bike lanes.

The contract also covers the reinstatement of the affected services such as sanitation, gas and storm water networks, electrical and telephone lines, the renovation of existing urban lighting and traffic lights.

In addition, the new stops will be equipped with an information system for passengers and connected to the Tristar monitoring system, an intelligent traffic management system that already operates in several Polish cities.
