Once more, Innotrans is the showcase for administrations, operators, constructors, manufacturers and technologists to show their innovations and prove the strength of rail transport.

In 2016, 137,391 trade visitors coming from 119 countries attended the fair that included the stands of 2,955 exhibitors from 60 countries, figures to be exceeded in this edition, which expects over 60 percent of international participation. A total of 224 companies are exhibiting in Berlin for the first time.

The fair is traditionally organised around five major segments: Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. The demand for space by the exhibitors and the large number of visitors have required the construction of a new hall, the twenty-seventh, which with a surface of close to 10,000 square metres will be operative at the next edition in 2020.

The presence of Spanish companies has increased edition after edition in line with the growing international presence of the Spanish railway sector. More than 50 of those companies share the keys to their participation in Innotrans 2018 in these special pages.
