European Union to review connection between Mediterranean Corridor and Atlantic and Cantabrian coastlines

(13/09/2018)

The inclusion of the Zaragoza-Sagunto section, which closes the Cantabrian-Mediterranean corridor, and the Madrid-Valencia route, which allows the Mediterranean to be connected with the Atlantic, were requested at the meeting. These sections are particularly relevant as arteries and hubs, and they have the potential to boost the economic development of their territories.

Also scheduled is a meeting between the technical services of the Ministry of Development and Public Works and the Commission for Transport to address the feasibility of both connections and reach an agreement on the subject.
