In addition to the initial agreement whereby CAF acquires 100% of the shares of the firm Solaris Bus & Coach, the Spanish company has entered into an agreement with the Polish PFR investment fund -Polski Fundusz Rozwoju- for the acquisition by the latter of 35% of Solaris.

This agreement will materialize in the next weeks, once the administrative procedures are finished and the authorization of the corresponding regulatory entities is obtained. Through the participation of the investment fund as a minority shareholder, CAF maintains the Polish identity of Solaris and incorporates a solid financial partner to accomplish the growth plan of the company.

With its investment in Solaris, CAF opens new strategic markets and starts covering urban mobility solutions beyond rolling stock, particularly in the electric mobility segment.
