The Railway Yearbook, published since 1995 (24 editions without interruption), has established itself as a reference tool for the whole rail sector, offering all the information on the railway activity that took place during the previous year and also a good deal of this year. Public authorities and companies as well as over 200 firms included in the Directory of companies will receive their copies in the course of one or two days.

Organized into several chapters, the Yearbook begins with the ‘Star products’ section including the most significant products, projects and services of the different companies in the industry. It then continues with the report prepared by the Observatorio del Ferrocarril (Observatory of the Railway) in 2016, which provides the most relevant information on infrastructure, long-distance and medium-distance passenger transport, suburban train services, freight transport, in addition to sustainability, social and economic indicators in Spain.

The Directory of companies presents their socioeconomic data and activities, their main products and services as well as the innovations carried out for the last year and a half. Following this are the Directory of public authorities and companies and the Directory of leading railway players. The book closes with an alphabetical index, an index by activity and another one of collaborating institutions.

In addition, the online version of the 2018 Spanish Railway Yearbook is available for consultation. This version allows users to view the full content of the book and do word searches.
