The contract involves the design, construction and commissioning of the new Euston station in central London, United Kingdom. This project is part of HS2, the new high-speed network that will connect London with Birmingham, the East Midlands, Leeds, Manchester and more than 25 stations in the north of the country.
The existing Euston station, designed in 1963 to manage 20 million underground and rail service users a year, is the sixth busiest station in Great Britain and in 2018 it handled over 87 million passengers a year.
Stage A of the construction is expected to begin at the end of 2019 with a completion by early 2026. The second phase, Stage B1, will be completed in 2033.
