The second edition of Rail Live!, held on 5-7 March 2019 at Bilbao Exhibition Centre, closed with results exceeding the forecasts in terms of number of speakers, attendees and participating companies.

The exhibition was attended by more than 3,000 people and 230 speakers, 80 more than in 2018, all coming from over 80 countries. The exhibition area increased its space by 157 percent until reaching the 1,825 square metres, and it hosted 176 companies, which means a participation 87 percent higher than the one obtained in the first call of the meeting.
The topics that aroused the greatest interest revolved around the advances of the industry in the digitalization of the railway, mobility as a service, and intelligent track infrastructure. The organisers, Terrapinn and the Spanish Railway Association (Mafex), have already announced the third edition for 1-2 April 2020, again in Bilbao.
