Noteworthy among these proposals, some of which include the participation of other Member States, is the development of the first of the three phases planned for the new Madrid-Vicálvaro railway terminal.

The selected projects also include the OGI variable gauge axle for freight wagons developed by Adif, Azvi and Tria, and the Miro 2 project, which aims to start up a Rolling Highway between Barcelona and Rungis (Paris) involving the participation of the VIIA company and the Barcelona Port Authority.

Also on the list is the FEDeRATED project, which includes the development and validation of the information associated with the logistics and supply chain along the transport network’s corridors through a system of federal platforms that offers interoperability and harmonisation, while in turn facilitating new market opportunities. The project includes the participation of the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Luxembourg, Italy and Spain. The Spanish participation will be jointly developed by the Ministry of Public Works, Ports of the State and Adif.
