This award, given by a jury of experts from the railway industry, rail transport and the academia, is the second award won by a Stadler Valencia vehicle following the one received by the UK Dual locomotive in the United Kingdom in September 2018.

The Eurodual, Stadler’s technological solution to improve freight transport through European corridors, is a six-axle bi-mode locomotive combining electric and diesel power, with the operative flexibility offered by diesel traction and the environmental benefits of the electric traction, together with a high power and tractive effort.

From its launch in 2017, Stadler has implemented orders for 42 units of the Eurodual platform for different European operators.
