In Barcelona the trains will be completed with other products also loaded in containers. From Barcelona the trains will travel by rail to the border, where there will be a transfer to SNCF trains to transport the goods to their final destination in Rotterdam.

Six trains a week will be loaded per direction, each of which has the capacity for carrying 1,300 tons. The new connection will combine rail and road transport, with the resulting reduction of CO2 emissions, and will allow products to reach the consumer fast and reliably.
