The Fernán Núñez Palace, headquarters of Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles (Spanish Railways Foundation), hosted UIC’s international seminar “7th Training on High Speed Systems Level II”.

Organised by the Ground Transportation Training Centre in collaboration with the International Union of Railways (UIC), the course was aimed at high-speed professionals, managers, strategy experts, those in charge of decision-making, economists and engineers.

The speakers, who were experts from rail companies, universities and the railway industry, provided a programme developed by UIC Intercity and High Speed Committee, a group made up of experts from the companies and the countries involved in high-speed railway systems.

The training included the participation of experts from HS2, SNCF, DB, Trenitalia, FCH, FFE, IK, Lisea, Eurostar, Thalys, Renfe, Adif, RZD, PKP, Amatrak, Euskotren, Korail, JR, CR, CARS, THSRC, Trafikverket, FTA, TCDD, ONCF and FTA.
