The project, which is valued at 42.69 million euros, is cofinanced by the EU Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment, and it is expected to be completed by mid-2022. It includes the design, delivery and installation of dynamic and updated passenger information and monitoring systems together with technical infrastructure in railway stations and stops.
The Central Dynamic Passenger Information System will provide real-time information on train schedules, departures and arrivals using a new and independent network. Passengers will receive the information through screens, interactive stands and a loudspeaker system, and they will benefit from an increased level of security thanks to the monitoring system with which stations will be equipped.
