The order amounts to 176 million Euros and is part of the contract signed in 2010 for the manufacture and supply of up to 860 trains for the French regions. To date, ten French regions have ordered a total of 428 Omneo/Regio 2N trains. The Omneo platform offers trains for suburban, regional and intercity services.

The propulsion systems of the 19 trains will be fully manufactured at the Trápaga factory in Biscay, which is working on the development of these systems on 409 Omneo double-deck trains for different regions in France.
