(12/05/2020)

The contract, valued at 2,269 million pounds (about 2,600 million Euros), involves the 80 km section between the Chilterns, southeast of England, to the outskirts of Birmingham. Works, which are expected to start this year, include the construction of 15 viaducts, 22 kilometres of road diversions, 67 bridges and 30 million cubic metres of excavation, among other tasks.

Ferrovial Agroman is delivering the enabling works on the central section of the high-speed railway line that will join London and Birmingham. This section, which starts north at Euston station and runs all the way to Birmingham Airport, is 100 kilometres in length.
