Ineco joins global initiative “Innovation against the virus”



Ineco has joined the global initiative “Innovation against the virus”, launched by the Ministry of Education of Castilla y León and Startup Olé to tackle the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

(12/05/2020)  This initiative involves the creation of an innovative and technological community aimed at developing projects that alleviate the effects of the current situation and help society face this new context of sanitary and economic emergency. The initiative calls for innovation, creativity and hope that new forums will emerge in order to increase knowledge and move forward into the future.

Ineco will be one of the mentoring companies that will advise teams in the development of innovative projects that help face the effects of the pandemic. Thus, it will evaluate the viability, the technological and innovation degree, the added value and the communication degree of the project, as well as the team that forms it. After the mentoring sessions, 24 winning projects associated with the different categories and modalities will be selected. These projects will have a direct pass to the sixth edition of Startup Olé 2020.

Support

The initiative is already supported by Impulsa Visión-RTVE, Acciona, Amazon Web Services, BQ, Iberdrola, Fundación Everis, the universities of Salamanca, Valladolid, Burgos, León, Pontificia de Salamanca, Católica de Ávila, Isabel I and the IE University, in addition to several media. So far 204 experts and mentors have been involved in the “Innovation against the virus” innovative, which includes 122 ideas and projects from fifteen countries.
