A total of 967.38 million euros have been allocated, of which 83.38 million correspond to 10 projects with Spanish participation, with a planned investment of a little over 282 million euros.

The first of the selected railway projects is the implementation of standard gauge on the Valencia-Castellón section of the Mediterranean Corridor, where work on the lines, electrification and signalling installations will be undertaken.

The second project is the study of the Railway Complex at Atocha Station, which includes the drafting of the basic and construction projects for the high-speed entrance hall, urban access on the eastern side and the modification of the configuration of the lines on the suburban train side for access to the tunnels to Sol, Recoletos and Embajadores stations.

The third project involves the improvement of the infrastructures at the Port of Seville in order to optimise interconnectivity between the river and railway and maritime transport. The actions consist of the implementation of the works to adapt and strengthen the fitting-out wharf to handle goods, and the implementation of the railway infrastructure works to enable intermodal transport to be boosted at the Port of Seville.
