Each of the vehicles, which are to be manufactured at CAF plants in Zaragoza and Beasain, will be equipped with four automatic ramps for people with reduced mobility. The deliveries of the 252 ramps are expected to end by 2021.

Masats RF2 ramp is characterized by its compact size and ease of installation, and allows full integration to the floor of the vehicle since it is flush-mounted. In addition, it incorporates an obstacle detection system to provide enhanced safety for the people standing on the platform.

With these ramps, boarding and alighting of the passengers is carried out with the utmost speed and safety. They can also enable the evacuation of the passengers in an emergency, since the ramp can reach an inclination of 30% allowing the disembarkation at street level, and it offers the option to be operated manually in case of a power failure.
