The project has consisted in the construction of two new tunnel kilometres, the commissioning of four new stations, three emergency exit shafts, and the execution of an urban bus terminal. Comsa has concluded the civil works of the Higienópolis-Mackenzie, Oscar Freire, São Paulo-Morumbi and Vila Sônia stations, the annexed urban bus interchange-terminal, and the section linking Butanda and Vila Sônia.
With this extension, Line 4 of São Paulo Metro has a total length of 12.8 km and 11 stations, which connect the centre with the southwest of the city providing service to more than 1.7 million passengers a day.
