 The Mafex meeting has given 22 companies from the Spanish railway industry the opportunity to present their capacities to the delegation of Egypt, a country facing several rail megaprojects in the coming years.

Such is the case with the start-up of the first high-speed line in the country, the signalling of the lines from Alexandria to Cairo, and from Beni Suef to Nag Hammadi, the modernization of line 2 of the Cairo metro, the future Lines 5 and 6, the Abu-Qir metro project, the extension of the Alexandria tramway, as well as various opportunities for the acquisition and rehabilitation of rolling stock.
