The first of the forums to be organized this year addressed the Australian market, where large investments in infrastructure are planned and where the railway will enjoy a very important role, and involved the participation of the Australian embassy in Spain.

The federal Government has approved the infrastructure investment plan with an investment of 62,700 million Euros for the periods of 2019-2020 and 2029-2030. 20% of this amount will be allocated to promote the railway in order to reduce congestion in the cities, boost the growth of several regions and create thousands of new jobs.

The conference, which was attended by more than 50 representatives in the sector, was divided in different sections. It opened with the presentation of the report “Focus On” Australia and the opportunities for development in the country. Then several Mafex companies, among which were CAF and Sice, shared their experience in the country and stressed the importance of identifying and having a good knowledge of the objectives in order to offer added-value products and services that turn out to be suitable and therefore likely to become the best option.
