The new locomotives will run in in Poland and neighbouring countries, reaching a top speed of 160 km/h. The equipment will be supplied throughout this year and 2024.

Ingeteam was also awarded a similar contract last year, so it will equip more than 100 of PESA’s locomotives, which will travel some 85,000 kilometres a year. (See piece of news and see piece of news).

Ingeteam’s converters are based on its own technology and provide significant advantages in terms of efficiency, size and weight. Their design facilitates vehicle maintenance, with no need for specific tools.
