The joint venture will be in charge of Phase One of what is considered the largest infrastructure investment in Calgary’s history, the Green Line Light Rail Transit project, with a budget of almost 3,700 million Euros (about 5,500 million Canadian dollars). This light rail network will expand mobility choice, providing direct connections between the southeast and downtown Calgary.

This first phase will include eighteen kilometres of dual light rail track, thirteen passenger stations, two kilometres of underground tunnelling, several bridge structures and a maintenance and storage facility. The consortium will collaborate to develop the project design and to agree on project costs, risk balance, and overall construction schedule before signing the agreement to construct the project. The contract has an execution period of sixteen months and works are expected to begin in 2024.
