The jury has considered that Seville Metro has deserved to be the winner this year in the customer service area for being pioneer in introducing Telmo, a virtual assistant that facilitates communications by WhatsApp with users.
The virtual assistant offers answers to travelers’ queries, information in real time about the service and other functionalities that have made it the most used channel. In the area of sustainability and environment, the suburban has received special recognition after several years in which it has been reducing its environmental footprint until it has achieved carbon neutrality by 2020.
Finalist
In addition to the two mentioned categories, the Seville Metro was also among the finalists in the Operator of the Year category, for the measures implemented during the pandemic, highlighting the air renewal monitoring system; and in the Technological Innovation of the Year category, for the implementation of the ‘Tap & Go’ bank card validation system.
