The high-speed trains, series 100, connect on their two lines with France, Lyon with Barcelona and Marseille with Madrid, sixteen destinations in both countries. In these lines, Renfe offers four daily frequencies from Monday to Sunday.
Since Renfe launched its services on the France-Spain corridor in July 2023, the direct connection has been recovered for most of the international relations that are included in its current AVE programming and that were interrupted in the month of December of 2022. In this way, passengers have the possibility of travelling by train from Madrid, Barcelona, Tarragona, Zaragoza, Girona and Figueras to Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier, Nimes, Avignon, Valence, Aix en Provence, Marseille and Lyon.
