ATF Turisferr and Codespa promote tourism in Ecuador

(23/11/2023)

The project, in the Amazonian province of Pastaza, in the Arajuno canton in Ecuador, will be developed during the next three years and aims to create skilled work, support social inclusion of young people and women, and promote environmental conservation. Through this initiative, 40 people will be trained in professional profiles such as guides, gourmets and sales representatives. Together with this training they will be provided with funding and equipment, so that, when they finish their traineeship, they continue autonomously.

The agreement signed between ATF Turisferr and Codespa establishes a collaboration that includes the provision of economic resources for undertakings, awareness-raising actions in Spain, and the creation of experiences of indigenous community rural tourism for the members of ATF, among other matters.
