Organised by Metro de Madrid and CoMET (Community of Metros), the conference coincided with the start of the first works for the future transformation of the Circular line, which include the comprehensive renovation of the track platform, the installation of platform doors and the modification of the signalling system, as well as the arrival of 40 new trains.
Throughout these sessions, up to twenty representatives of the most internationally recognised metros met to facilitate the exchange of knowledge on the conversion of conventional to automatic lines, with the intention of contributing to a better design, planning and execution of the projects of the L6 of the Madrid underground and thus achieve a more efficient operation.
