The Arna-Bergen double-track railway line has been named Construction of the Year 2024 in Norway at the Byggedagene Awards, organized by Byggeindustrien, the country’s publication specialised in the sector. Azvi Norge has been part of this project, a network that was inaugurated after completion of the process in May 2024.

The company has been in charge of two of the most important projects that have been carried out. One was the refurbishment and extension of the old Ulriken tunnel, 7.7 kilometres long and built in the 1960s, with more than 400 blastings. The other was the track, catenary and installation assembly in the new Ulriken tunnel where, in 2020, it installed the country's first ballastless track. The work carried out on both infrastructures has enabled the line to be doubled on the Arna-Floen section.
