Ayesa’s advisory contract will cover the development of Line 9 of Santiago de Chile’s metro network. The new line will comprise 19 stations, along with maintenance facilities and depots. The route will be fully underground and will add 27 kilometres to the existing network. It will also be the first metro line in Santiago to feature a four-line interchange: the Cal y Canto station will link with Lines 2, 3, and 7, and will have a total of six interchange points, easing pressure on Line 4 and providing direct routes into the heart of the city.
