(12/11/2025)

The first of the 54 new trains ordered from CAF is already running on London's light rail network, the Docklands Light Railway. This new rolling stock, which will replace the old trains, will increase capacity by 50 per cent and improve services. This train is part of the contract extension agreement signed with CAF in 2023 (see news item) to reinforce the fleet used to cover these connections. Like the previous ones, it has five carriages and is equipped with air conditioning, mobile device charging points, areas for pushchairs, bicycles and luggage, and spaces reserved for wheelchairs.
