This operation will enable Leo Express to roll out new international routes and strengthen its foothold in Central Europe’s passenger transport.

The first trainset, consisting of 13 Talgo VI passenger cars, was transferred to the Czech Republic on 7 August. The plan is to begin commercial services in the second quarter of 2026 on new international routes connecting the capitals of the Czech Republic and Slovakia (Prague and Bratislava), among other destinations.

The trains, with a configuration of one locomotive and 13 Talgo VI passenger cars, have a capacity of 354 passengers and can travel at maximum speeds of 200 km/hour.
