Agreement between the Spanish Transport Association (AET) and Morocco Train Industry (MTI)



The Spanish Transport Association (AET) and Morocco Train Industry (MTI) have signed an agreement to consolidate a new railway hub capable of competing in African, European and global markets.

The alliance aims to form an industrial and technological bloc that will transform the railway balance in the Mediterranean. This union is designed to generate competitive advantage and attract investment, according to the parties involved.

‘The signing comes at a key moment: while Morocco is moving forward with the modernisation of its railway network and the expansion of its local industry, Spain is strengthening its role as a Euro-Mediterranean logistics hub’, said the AET.
