The ActivUs consortium formed by Acciona, CPB Contractors, UGL, SMEC, and WSP will be responsible for the contract to design and build the major works package for the Logan and Gold Coast (LGC) Faster Rail project.

These companies will collaborate with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads and Queensland Rail to deliver this project, which will improve the efficiency and frequency of public transportation in the city’s south-east. The project aims to meet the high demand for travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast ahead of the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games.
