Systra Ardanuy participates in La Dorada – Chiriguaná Railway Corridor project in Colombia

Systra Ardanuy has been selected to develop the Final Studies and Designs for Phase III of the communication, signalling and control systems on the railway corridor between Barrancabermeja and Chiriguaná, as part of La Dorada – Chiriguaná Railway Corridor project.

The agreement, signed on 26 January 2026 with Concesión Línea Férrea Central SAS, includes the design and development of the telecommunications, signalling and control subsystems: fibre optics, TETRA radio, Traffic Control Centre, ITCS/PTC, ITS and infrastructure support, with a focus on safety, interoperability and high operational availability. La Dorada – Chiriguaná Railway Corridor is an active section of the national network and is 526 km long. It crosses 25 municipalities in five departments: Caldas, Antioquia, Santander, Norte de Santander and Cesar.
