Renfe has launched the fourth edition of ‘Verano Joven’ (Youth Summer), a programme which allows young people between 18 and 30 years old to travel this summer until 30 September 2026, with 50% discounts on high-speed (AVE and Avlo) and long-distance trains, with a maximum discount of €30 per ticket.

A form has been made available on the ‘Verano Joven’ website so that young people of Spanish nationality or from any other European Union country with legal residence in Spain, born between 1 January 1996 and 31 December 2008, both dates inclusive, can register to confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria and, where applicable, obtain the personal and non-transferable code they must use to purchase the Interrail Pass and discounted tickets.
