(25/04/2025)

This high-speed project, tendered by OÜ Rail Baltic Estonia to transform the mobility of the Baltic countries, has a total estimated value of 332 million Euros.

The contract will be executed by a consortium in which Budimex holds a 40% stake. The Polish subsidiary of Ferrovial will focus on construction works, as will Bouygues Travaux Publics (France) and KMG Infra OÜ (Estonia). Also part of the consortium are Ingérop Conseil et Ingénierie (France) and WSP Finland Oy (Finland), which will be in charge of the design.

The new railway infrastructure will allow trains to reach speeds of up to 249 kilometres per hour. The project is co-financed by the European Union and the Estonian Government, and works are expected to be completed by the end of 2030.
