The subsidiary in France, called Renfe France, Societé par Actions Simplifiée, will be established with headquarters in Paris and its corporate purpose will be to seek, execute and operate business expansion in the neighbouring country.

In addition to participating in various public service tenders in France, Renfe already provides direct high-speed services between Barcelona and Lyon and between Madrid and Marseille. In the coming months, it will also launch a third international frequency between France and Spain, connecting Barcelona and Toulouse.

Mexico subsidiary

The subsidiary in Mexico, which will be headquartered in Mexico City, will focus on both existing activities and new business opportunities that arise in the country. The operator has already executed in this market several contracts focused on the implementation of one the main transport projects, the Mayan Train.
