The event, which brought together representatives of the administrations, companies and associations in the rail sector, featured a ‘macroeconomic presentation of Spain and bilateral relations in the railway field’, a presentation by Mafex of the Spanish railway industry, and a round table on ‘trends, challenges and opportunities of the railway sector in the short and medium term’ moderated by the Spanish Railway Technology Platform, which included the participation of representatives from Alstom, Adif and Renfe.

The second part of the conference began with the elevator pitches from the French companies, which highlighted their specialities and services as well as the investment opportunities in the railway sector in this country. The programme closed with a round of meetings.
