This global order comprises 61 commuter trains for Deutsche Bahn (Germany), 39 medium-distance trains for transport operator Västtrafik (Sweden), and 85 trains for London Underground’s Central line (United Kingdom).

At the same time, the Alstom industrial site in the Basque Country is undergoing expansion and diversification, recently opening new workshops for railway equipment maintenance. In December 2024, the factory expanded its activities by incorporating new equipment and machinery for the repair and overhaul of traction converters, power modules, and motor fans.

The new projects join those that have been carried out at this centre in recent years, including traction systems for Iryo's high-speed trains, Trenitalia's Frecciarossa trains, French regional trains, German commuter trains, and trams in Brussels, Zurich, Graz and Berlin.
