Works at this metro station are being carried out using fully electric equipment and vehicles.

The project involves the collaboration of Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, the first woman to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize, and consists in the construction of this cutting-edge metro station, designed as a landmark of innovation and modernity, to connect it with the station located in the Majorstuen neighbourhood of Oslo.

These works, which the Spanish company Dragados is carrying out in a joint venture with the Norwegian company HAB, have an investment of 200 million Euros and are in the initial construction phase. They are included in the execution of the new 8-km metro line, the largest transport project in the Norwegian capital in more than 20 years.
