Comsa is awarded new railway projects in Mexico



Valued at €35 million.

Comsa has been awarded three new railway projects focused on improving public transport and promoting electromobility. Among the projects awarded are the adaptation and modernisation of the Tasqueña Light Rail terminal, as well as maintenance work on the capital’s underground system.

Comsa’s work on the Tasqueña Light Rail terminal includes the construction of a new railway platform, the renovation of the electromechanical infrastructure of the track and catenary, as well as the refurbishment of the pedestrian infrastructure and the maintenance of all stations. As for its participation in the Mexico City Metro, the company has been awarded refurbishment works on Line 1. According to the planned action programme, Comsa's next interventions will focus on the refurbishment of the Zaragoza Workshops, as well as the comprehensive maintenance of the entire line.
